Ebert possibly out for 6 months

Patrick Ebert ruptured cruciate ligaments

Awful news. Patrick Ebert, who was injured during the friendly game against Ulm on Saturday evening, has ruptured cruciate ligaments in his right knee and will and will be out of action for possibly six months. The full extent of the injury was revealed by a scan by doctors in Berlin on Monday afternoon, after the squad returned to the capital city, following their training camp stay in Oberstaufen/Allgäu.

Ebert had collided with the Ulm keeper after ten minutes during the 4-0 victory. An examination in the clinic in Ulm failed to reveal the devastating injury.

herthabsc.de wishes Patrick a speedy recovery!
